Welcome to Nail Colors of the Month, the place where you’ll always know which shade to wear next.

 

 I’ve been painting my own nails for about ten years. My first manicure was a very wobbly pink I did at the kitchen table at fifteen, and I’ve been hooked on color ever since. These days I keep a drawer of more than a hundred polishes, and my forever favorite is a soft dusty rose that suits almost every season.

 

I started this blog because I was tired of saving hundreds of nail photos and still standing in front of my polish drawer with no idea what to pick. Even worse, a color that looked perfect on a pin rarely looked the same on me. So I began choosing one fresh palette every month and testing how each shade looks on different skin tones.

Here’s what you’ll find on the blog:
